Google + Photographers Conference

2012 June 4

This is the first photography conference I have attended although I have taken several classes and workshops. This conference was unique because it gave photographers a chance to meet each other in the “real world”. On Monday afternoon, there were several photowalks. I went on the Trey Ratcliff photowalk along the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Trey is a pioneer in HDR photographer. I first met him several weeks before at a Flickr photowalk in the Mission District. He was very open and sharing and I tool the opportunity to expand this experience with this photo walk.

The first series of photos are the individual particppants:

The second series are the group pictures which give you a sense of how many enthusiastic photographers there were at this conference:

A great experience. Thanks Google and Kelbymedia Group for this fine conference.
