Peninsula Temple Beth El held its annual Purim Carnival today. Food, fun, games and friends. The children particularly liked the games where they collected points to get gifts at the end.

One of the traditions for Christmas Eve is the making of cookies for Santa. In this video, Brinley, Devon and Josh prepare cookies for Santa and cut up carrots for Santa.

To celebrate the season, many parents take their children to Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco to enjoy some ice skating. As the schools let out for the Christmas holidays, it is a perfect time to enjoy a family outing.

Valentines Day 2009

Always a favorite with the kids. This year we had the Howe Family from Mass. and the Bourgade family from Paris join the Sacramento Morris Family at Nana’s for lunch.

The children really love this holiday. Sorry the Daniel clan could not make it.

Xmas in Sacramento

Xmas means we journey to Sacramento where our son Scott, wife Jennifer and three grand children, Brinley, Devon and Joshua live. Also near by in Davis is older son Andrew and his wife Gabrielle. Our plans were cut short a little because Danice’s mother had medical problems we needed to deal with. We had planned to go up and share Christmas Eve. Instead we went up for Xmas lunch and the afternoon.

Below is a picture of Devon and Brinley playing with their new animal houses.

Of course Josh gets into the spirit too with his Xmas hat.

Mother’s Day 2008 The Video

Josh enjoyed his first Mother’s Day.

I am experimenting with video. It is orders of magnitude more difficult to do right than still photography. The sound was bad so I put a little simon & Garfunkle music as background. I tried imovie 08 but gave up and went to imovie HD. Much better. But I have an aweful lot to learn. Luckily, I have a lot of willing and not so willing subjects.

Mother’s Day in Davis

Andrew and Gabrielle once again offered to host this happy day. Scott, Jenn and the kids live in Sacramento and Grandma Jackie is staying in Sacramento for a week.

We had the closest thing to the entire family than we have had in a long time. Of course our European nieces were not here.
